Coogee Folk Dancers
​The Coogee Folk Dancing group is a community dance ensemble known for performing traditional cultural dances, such as Macedonian and Balkan-style folk dance routines.
​
They have participated in regional and multicultural events, performing traditional routines and hosting interactive folk-dancing workshops for the public to learn simple dance moves and traditional circle steps.
The Grand Parade
All the colour, noise and fun of the Festival! Cheer by the sideline as the procession travels through the main streets of town.

Departs @ 9.50am from the Imperials Football Grounds. Reaches Main Stage @ 10.00am. ​​The show and shine display will be held south end of Giblett Street following the parade with prizes presented at the main stage at 12.30pm.

Dress the Town Red and Silver!
Bring the town to life by decorating your business windows or street façade in a red‑and‑silver cherry theme. Let’s make the streets shine with colour and community spirit.
The central business district and businesses in the light industrial area are invited to become part of this celebration by ‘dressing up’ the town with “red and silver lights” and windows featuring the theme of “red and silver”. The dressed windows are a fantastic feature of the festival.
We have a number of different people getting into making ‘red pom poms” for us and we hope that when we give you some you will hang them across the top of your windows for us, so all businesses look the same (or somewhere in your window among your display).
