MCHF is thrilled to welcome back one of our favourite entertainers, Greg Butcher.

 

Greg started his music career playing in bands from the age of 17, bass guitarist & vocals, in the Perth metro area & country towns. He was in bands called The Runaway Boys, in the 80’s & Backbeat in the 90’s.

 

In 2001 he moved south to Manjimup, where he started performing as a soloist/DJ, playing many club functions, local wineries, parties, corporate events & weddings in and around the Southwest & Metro regions. In this time, he played in country bands, Cowboy X and Desert Road.

 

Greg has shared the stage over the years, with the likes of The Troggs, John Williamson, Mental As Anything, Keith Potger (The Seekers), James Blundell, Chas Sandford, Ronnie Rae Rivers and The Swinging Blue Jeans, plus many more.

 

Now settled just outside of Donnybrook, Greg still performs regularly at both home & away gigs and we're lucky enough to have him playing 3 big sets on the Southern stage for Saturday's program. Check back with us later for program times and don't forget to bring your dancing shoes!
