Or maybe You could represent your club or business to find Manjimup's biggest corporate spitter!
All you have to do is turn up at the Manjimup Visitors Centre at 5.00pm on Thursday the 8th of December 2011 with your best spit. Sweet Manjimup cherries will be provided.
In fact, Roy might even buy you a welcoming drink on arrival. Performance anxiety? Don't worry, not all of us can go the distance, so just participate to enjoy yourself & have some fun. Come and meet the Cherry Festival Committee, bag Dousty, and generally help us promote the festival. The media are bound to be there so come on down and be part of the crowd.
Maybe this is that one thing that you can do to contribute towards making this year's 10th Anniversary Cherry Festival the greatest one ever.
Big Grant Hetherington is rumoured to be claiming this years title already, so make sure you turn up to rain on his parade and knock that big cherry smile off his face. Adam Price (a smoky from a couple of years back) reckons he is pulling 13 metres in secret trials in Bridgetown. Come on down and make sure they have got some competiton.
The second round of heats will be held at 9.00am on Saturday the 10th of December 2011 at the Manjimup Visitors Centre. Come and see how far you can "spit" and if you will make it to the finals of this Iconic Event sponsored by Globe Vista.
The finals are to be held on the Main Stage (at the corner of Brockman Street and Giblett Street) from 10.30am, on the Manjimup Cherry Harmony Festival Fête Day on the 10th of December 2011.
