The Manjimup Photographic Club would like to invite you to enter in our photographic competition, held in conjunction with the Manjimup Cherry Harmony Festival.
We would like to welcome you to our Opening Ceremony on at 5.30pm on Wednesday the 7th of December 2011. So please come along and enjoy a few drinks and view all the great entries and share your views and opinions with other passionate photographers.
All photos will be displayed at The Roundhouse in the Timber Park from 10.00am to 4.00pm on Thursday 8th December to Sunday the 11th of December.
The Awards & Prizes Ceremony will be held at 4:00pm on Saturday the 10th of December 2011. After the ceremony please pick up your photos or arrange to have then collected. Don’t leave them behind.
The competition is open to all AMATEUR photographers. A maximum of 3 Photos per category, except for Class 5, which can only have 2 Photos. It must be the original work of entrant, and it must have been taken within the last 2 Years. You cannot enter the same photo in two different categories.
The Manjimup Photographic Club will have the right to refuse any entry that we feel may be:
All photos’ that do not meet the criteria for the Definition of Categories or the Display of Photos will not be judged or be in the running for any prizes or awards. These photos will still be displayed in a separate area.
Judging for the photo competition will be conducted by three independent judges who will be selected by the Manjimup Photographic Club. Their decision will be final and no appeal will be entered into.
While all care is taken, the Manjimup Photographic Club will not be responsible for any damage to photos entered in this competition.
All photos entered in this year photographic competition will have to comply with below rules. So before sending in your entries please make sure that they meet all the right criteria.
