Manjimup Cherry Harmony Festival

Welcome to Manjimup for the annual Cherry Harmony Festival, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year.

Since 2002, the event has attracted visitors of all ages, featuring delicious local food, market stalls, cooking demonstrations, entertainment, wine tasting, the famous cherry spitting competition and more.

It showcases the cultural diversity of the Manjimup community and coincides with the annual cherry harvest.

We would like to congratulate the Manjimup community and the event organisers for their involvement in building such a successful event over the past 10 years. The festival is now enjoyed by more than 5,000 visitors which is great news for the region.

The State Government is proud to support the Manjimup Cherry Harmony Festival through Eventscorp's Regional Events Scheme (RES), which has funding from Royalties for Regions.

RES supports a wide range of sporting, arts, cultural and culinary events that attract visitors, add vibrancy to a region and help to increase its profile.

The Liberal-National Government has recently doubled the funding for RES to $600,000, thanks to the Royalties for Regions program.

The additional $300,000 funding is part of a significant $40 million over four year commitment to regional events from the Royalties for Regions Fund.

We recognise that events deliver substantial economic, social and cultural benefits to regional communities, as well as valuable media exposure.

We hope all visitors enjoy the Manjimup Cherry Harmony Festival and take the time to explore other attractions in the region, such as the extraordinary karri and jarrah forests.
