The Rules of Entry Are as follows:
- This competition is open to all amateur brewers: Only amateur or homemade products may be entered.
- Brew On Premises beers are not permitted for entry.
- An entry form must be completed in full and submitted along with all entries.
- An entry fee $3.00 will be charged per entered Beer.
- All entries must be received by 5.00pm, 27/11/2011. Any entries not received at designated entry points prior to this date will not be eligible for judging.
- Brewers will be restricted to 1 entry per style, and 3 entries per category.
- Entrants must specify both the category and the style that they wish their beer to be judged as, per the AABC Guidelines supplied.
- A minimum of two bottles is required for entry, preferably two 750ml glass or PET containers.
- Kegs or other similar pressure vessels are not eligible for entry. Containers or bottles larger than 2 litres in size are also not eligible for entry.
- Bottles or containers will not be returned to entrants.
- The organisers, stewards, judges or associates will not be responsible for the loss or damage to any entry.
- Completed bottle labels must be attached to each bottle using the supplied instructions. No other identifiable label or mark should be attached, etched or otherwise marked on the bottle.
- Judges decisions will be final and undisputable.
- Medals will be awarded to the best beer of show, and champion brewer.
- Sponsors may enter the competition, but are not eligible for medals or prizes.
- Prizes and medals will be awarded for the best three entries per category.
- Category winners and place getters will be decided by sum of points awarded. In the event of a draw the Judge’s decision will be final.
- Winners will be announced during the main proceedings on Saturday 10th December at the main stage commencing at 10.00am. Results and score sheets will be sent to entrants via mail or email.
- Full results, including scores for all entries will sent to entrants via email. By registering for this competition you agree for your preferred name and score results to be visible to all other entrants. We may also publish the results on a website.
- The above rules are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the organiser.
